COLONEL SOYDAN GÖRGÜLÜ

DIRECTOR, COE-DAT

Col Soydan GÖRGÜLÜ is the Director and Turkish senior national representative at the NATO Centre of Excellence for the Defence Against Terrorism (COE-DAT) in Ankara, Turkey. As the Director, Colonel GÖRGÜLÜ leads all aspects supporting the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation in his effort to transform NATO in the field of counterterrorism.


Colonel GÖRGÜLÜ graduated from the Turkish Military Academy as an Artillery Officer in 1994 and from the Artillery School in 1995. He, then, became an army air defence artillery officer in 1997, and served as platoon leader, company commander, battalion commander prior to his assignment at COE-DAT. Col GÖRGÜLÜ is married to Sibel GÖRGÜLÜ, with one daughter and one son.
